Amsterdam Memorial Health Care System
  • Amount: $2,975 awards (awards are subject to reduction due to TAP)
  • Who is Eligible: students matriculated in the nursing program, residents of the communities that are served by Amsterdam Memorial Health Care System, 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Requirements: in return for this scholarship, the recipient agrees to provide the Amsterdam Memorial Hospital with the equivalent of one year of full-time service as an RN for each year of school for which the Hospital provided assistance

Amsterdam-Mohawk Valley Business and Professional Women Scholarship
  • Amount: $500
  • Who is Eligible: non-traditional student who graduated from a Montgomery County high school and is a current Montgomery County resident, accumulated 30 credits or more, cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better
  • Requirements: maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better and have documented financial need

Amsterdam Rotary Scholarship
  • Amount: $500
  • Who is Eligible: first-year, full-time student who is a resident of the Greater Amsterdam School District with documented history of community service or activity
  • Requirements: maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress, non-renewable (first year only)

Baaquie/Morrow Business Scholarship
  • Amount: $1,500
  • Who is Eligible: business student enrolled in the A.A. Business Degree Program with plans on pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. (consideration may also be given to students enrolled in the A.A.S. Accounting Program)
  • Requirements: full-time, second year, minimum 2.5 GPA, have earned a minimum of 28 credits

Caroline Ermie Memorial Scholarship
  • Amount: $250
  • Who is Eligible: adult nursing student who has 30 or more accumulated credits and live in either Fulton or Montgomery counties
  • Requirements: enrolled either full or part-time and have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.5

Debra Kozlowski-Rector Memorial Scholarship
  • Amount: $200
  • Who is Eligible: enrolled in the Human Services program with at least 30 accumulated credits, grade point average of 2.0, non-traditional student, with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average

Clifford T Weller Scholarship
  • Amount: $1,000
  • Who is Eligible: first-year, full time graduate of a Montgomery County High School with a minimum High School grade point average of 3.0
  • How to Apply:  identification of recipients will be the responsibility of the FMCC Admissions Office
  • Requirements: must maintain 3.3 cumulative grade point average

Delaney Construction Corporation Scholarship
  • Amount: $500
  • Who is Eligible: full-time, second year (30+ earned credit hours), Construction Technology major who is a resident of Fulton or Montgomery County, with documented financial need and a 2.5 grade point average
  • Requirements: maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average

Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarship Program
  • Amount: varies
  • Who is Eligible: New York State residents, enrolled full-time, who have demonstrated high academic achievement (3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average in High School or from courses taken at FMCC)
  • Requirements: maintain a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, complete the FAFSA, and self declare racial/ethnic category

Foundations of Education
  • Amount:  $750  
  • Who is Eligible: full or part-time matriculated students with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain a 2.5 grade point average

Foundation of FMCC Academic Excellence Scholarship
  • Amount: Two at $1,000 each
  • Who is Eligible: graduating high school seniors from Fulton or Montgomery counties with an entering grade point average of 3.2 or better
  • Requirements: full-time students, maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average

Foundation of FMCC Assistance Scholarship
  • Amount: Two at $1,000 each 
  • Who is Eligible: graduating high school seniors from Fulton or Montgomery counties
  • Requirements: full-time students with documented financial need

The FMCC Alumni Scholarship
  • Amount: $1,000
  • Who is Eligible: full-time students whose parent or guardian graduated from FMCC
  • Requirements: maintain a 2.75 GPA and complete 4 consecutive semesters with documented financial need
The FMCC Foundation Award
  • Amount: $250
  • Who is Eligible: graduating High School senior, from Fulton or Montgomery County, High School GPA of "B" or better, first generation college student
  • How to Apply: High School Guidance Counselor determines recipients of these awards
  • Requirements: one time only award

Fulton County Health Care Scholarship
  • Amount: Four at $1,000 each
  • Who is Eligible: accumulated at least 12 credits, be a resident of Fulton County, enrolled and matriculated in a designated health care field, and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid
  • Requirements: have a cumulative GPA of 2.5

Fulton County Highway Officials Association Scholarship
  • Amount: $1,000
  • Who is Eligible: student enrolled in Construction Technology or Business Administration, accumulated 30 or more credits and have a 2.5 GPA
  • Requirements: graduate of a Fulton County High School, current Fulton County resident

Fulton County Servicemen Association Scholarship
  • Amount: varies based on applicant pool
  • Who is Eligible: full and part-time students, submission of a DD214, resident of Fulton County
  • Requirements: varies based on enrollment

Gerda Lider Scholarship
  • Amount: $600
  • Who is Eligible: full and part-time Nursing students with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress

Harold N. Martling Family Scholarship
  • Amount: $1,000
  • Who is Eligible: Nursing student with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress

Home Bureau Scholarship (New York State Federation of Home Bureaus)
  • Amount: $800 each
  • Who is Eligible: reside in Fulton or Montgomery Counties, demonstrate financial need, citizen of the United States, Computer Information Systems or Business Majors, First year student
  • Requirements: full-time and maintain a GPA of 2.5

International Student Academic Scholarship
  • Amount: varies based on applicant pool
  • Who is Eligible: International students who have achieved academic success in their home country (new students) or 3.5 cumulative grade point average for continuing FMCC students

  • Who is Eligible: International students who demonstrate need

Johnstown Hospital Foundation Scholarship
  • Amount: Three $2,000
  • Who is Eligible: Nursing students who reside in the Johnstown area or a community formerly served by the Johnstown Hospital
  • Requirements: maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress

Johnstown Moose Family Center Scholarship
  • Amount: $500
  • Who is Eligible: graduate of a Fulton or Montgomery county high school, enrolled full-time, with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or better

Lisa Queeney FMCC Scholarship
  • Amount: $500
  • Who is Eligible: first-time student entering Fulton-Montgomery Community College full-time who graduated from Mayfield Central School with an academic average of 3.0 or better
  • How to Apply: identification of recipients will be the responsibility of an Interdisciplinary Faculty Committee at Mayfield Central High School
  • Requirements: this scholarship will be awarded to a student who participates in at least two extra curricular activities and demonstration of leadership will be favorably judged

Malcolm and Judy McMartin Nursing Scholarship

  • Amount: $500
  • Who is Eligible: Nursing student with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress

  Marc A. Marino Scholarship

  • Amount: Two at $500 each
  • Who is Eligible: matriculated full-time (12+ credits) student in the Human Services or Early Childhood Education Program, with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, with documented financial need
  • Requirements: maintain a 2.5 GPA to continue the award up to 4 semesters

New York State Publishers Scholarship
  • Amount: up to $250 per semester
  • Who is Eligible: Communication and Media Arts majors, enrolled part-time or more (at least 6 credits), minimum grade point average of 2.75 or higher
  • How to Apply: applications available from Communication and Media Arts Faculty
  • Requirements: awarded once a semester but may be eligible for multiple semesters

Presidential Scholarship
  • Amount: $1,000 per award, number of awards vary
  • Who is Eligible: graduating high school seniors who reside in Fulton, Montgomery or Hamilton counties or the Galway Central School District with a 3.5 or equivalent grade point average at the time of application
  • Requirements: full-time and maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average
